PDSA Pet Pawtraits Calendar

PDSA Pets in need of Vets

Scarlet Page, daughter of Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, is the photographer for the 2009 PDSA Pet Pawtraits calendar.

The calendar features portraits of 12 star pets and their celebrity owners, including Strictly Come Dancing queen Alesha Dixon, award-winning soap actress Kym Ryder and former Blur musician and writer Alex James.

Sales go directly to PDSA to help fund free veterinary care for the sick and injured pets.
The full celebrity line-up for the 2009 PDSA Pet Pawtraits calendar includes:

- Comedian Johnny Vegas with dog Frank
- Strictly Come Dancing winner Alesha Dixon with dog Roxy
- Former Blur musician and writer Alex James with dog Socks
- GMTV’s Jenni Falconer with dog Alfie
- Singer Jonathan Ansell with dogs Sammy and Merry
- Award-winning Coronation Street star Kym Ryder with dog Charlie
- Former Blue Peter presenter Matt Baker with dog Meg
- Musician Sandi Thom with cat Toots
- Eastenders actor John Partridge with dog Tilly
- TV presenter Melinda Messenger with dog Sushi
- Actor Nathaniel Parker with cat Petrushka
- West End star Summer Strallen with dog Bam Bam

Scarlet said “I have two fantastic moggies – a black cat called Tommy who is 17 and a nine-year-old ginger called Archie – so pets have always been a huge part of my life. I simply cannot imagine life without them. That’s why I took on this project and I am really happy to be part of such a worthwhile and inspiring campaign.”

PDSA is funded entirely from public support and the calendar is one of the charity's main fundraising initiatives. Sales go directly to PDSA to help fund free veterinary care for the sick and injured pets of people in need.
