Let's
go walkies with Dogs Trust
On Sunday 2nd October 2011 it's time to get your walking
shoes on, have fun and help Dogs Trust care for thousands
of stray and abandoned dogs. |
Walks
for all abilities
You can choose to walk a route of 5km or 10km, so there is
a Waggy Walk for
everyone. To take part in your local walk visit Waggy
Walks Whereabouts for information about what areas are
holding walks.
Don't forget to tell all your friends, family, work colleagues
and anyone else you can think of about Waggy Walks and ask
them to sponsor you. |
|
No walk near you?
Choose from a list of walks or if there is not a walk near you why
not organise
your own Waggy Walk. Get your family and friends together, collect
some sponsorship and walk 5km or 10km round your local park.
Helpful items that you may need
At the downloads
page you will find sponsor forms, fundraising tips, logos and lots
of other things to help you fundraise and have a great Waggy Walk.
Can't make it?
If you can't go on a Waggy Walk why not sponsor
Barnes the very special Dogs Trust mascot for 2011. Last year's
mascot, Otis, raised £4,235 so it would be great if we could
make this year bigger and better.
Barnes says: "I have been lucky to have had such a happy and
loving home but I know that sadly so many dogs haven't been as fortunate
as me- which is why Dogs Trust are so important to all my canine
chums. This is who I am raising money for- all my four legged pals
at Dogs Trust who are still without a home."
