What Are They Trying To Say?
RSPCA What Are They Trying To Say?
The RSPCA has designed a free booklet
‘What Are They Trying To Say?’
to help animal owners understand
their pets better.
Covering everything from horses to small furry pets, exotic animals to tortoises and even snakes, this light-hearted and informative publication brings the issues to life with entertaining illustrations.

Many behaviour 'problems' in pets arise as a result of miscommunication between owner and animal. While it would be too ambitious to condense all the research about animal behaviour that exists in such a small space, with the help of The Bristol University Anthrozoology Institute, this booklet provides lots of practical tips to help people understand their pets' behaviour and enjoy fuller relationships with them.

Commenting on the campaign, RSPCA Fundraising Manager, Brendon Elliott said: "Helping animals and human beings to live in harmony is what the RSPCA is all about - and that's the reason why we're offering this booklet for free. It's all about spreading the responsible pet ownership message."
