Canine Hydrotherapy - Session 3
My name is Danielle. In January 2006 my 18 month old Shih Tzu Tia slipped and damaged her cruciate ligament. She was referred for 6 weeks of canine hydrotherapy. Here is our personal account of Tia's hydrotherapy sessions.

Session 3
This week we had a good session. Tia's time was increased by 1/2 a minute on each swim.

We had a different hydrotherapist this week as Tanya was away but Nicky thought Tia did Brilliantly. She seems to be panicking less each week so I hope she is becoming more comfortable in the water. Nicky says alot of dogs can be quite scared to begin with but it normally gets easier as they go on.

They often encourage you to bring the dogs favourite toy to make the session fun but Tia wasn't really interested and she works hard enough with having a toy with her.

All in all another good week and I'm very pleased with her progress.

Danielle and Tia
