My
name is Danielle. In January 2006 my 18 month old Shih Tzu Tia slipped
and damaged her cruciate ligament. She was referred for 6 weeks
of canine hydrotherapy. Here is our personal account of Tia's hydrotherapy
sessions.
Session 8
I took Tia to Hydrotherapy today a little anxious of how she would
be in the pool given last week’s performance. I told Tania
of the observations I had made over the past week and explained
she seemed to be more lively this week.
Tia
was very hesitant to get into the pool and gave me the "Mum,
do I have to get in" look. Once Tia was in the pool she was
back to her normal self, working really hard in the water.
Then
Tania gave us some really good news; if we take it very slowly she
thinks Tia would be alright to start agility again this summer!
So that’s really exciting for us and we are hoping to start
back next week!
