| Is your town or village
a dog-friendly place to live?
If so, nominate it now!
Burns Pet Nutrition has launched it's nationwide
search for the most dog friendly place, be it a village, town
or city, in the UK.
Dog-friendly places would provide facilities for
dogs and their owners such as parks that allow access to dogs
and that provide poop scoops, bags and bins.
Points will also be awarded to places that have
hotels, bars and restaurants that allow dog owners and their dogs
to enter and maybe even offer a bowl of water for the thirsty
canine traveller.
Points are awarded for the different facilities
provided by each place nominated. So if your town or village goes
out of it's way to make dogs welcome, nominate it now for the
UK's most dog-friendly place. The winning town or village will
be presented with a plaque in honour of it's dog-friendly achievements.
Each nomination form includes a question about
your local animal rescue centre. The most nominated centre in
the winning area will receive half a tonne of dog or cat food
valued at over £1,100 to feed the animals in its care. All
the nominators of the successful centre will be entered into a
prize draw to win a year’s free supply of dog food.

Pet Nutrition website to fill out a nomination form. Alternatively,
