| The Wag & Bone
show is almost here so you should be making your final preparations.
See our General Information section
for more detailed information about the whole event and our Awards
and Competitions page for specific information on what your
pooch can enter.
In this Final Countdown we will concentrate on the more recent
developments in the run up to the event plus some final preparation
tips.
Entry Tickets
Don't forget to buy your entry tickets in advance. It is cheaper
than paying at the gate and you will be able to go straight in.
VIP Access
Your dog can be treated to a £5 tag which will be their
VIP pass (Very Important Pooch) allowing them access to the air-conditioned
ringside marquee. Each VIPs human guest then pays £25 per
head to join them in the lap of luxury and enjoy a posh sit-down
two-course lunch. Numbers will be limited. See the official Wag
and Bone Show website for further details.
Games Zone
All games are £1 per go. The event organisers aim to set
up a facility for buying your tokens in advance online to cut
down the queues on the day. Keep your eye on the official Wag
and Bone Show website.
Events Zone - Trick and Treat
The Trick and Treat Ring will have something for everybody, whether
you want to teach your dog a clever trick, show-off your dog's
skills or just sit and watch clever dogs performing. For a detailed
timetable, visit the ezone
section of the website.
Super Sit
This year's Guinness World Record Sit Attempt will be at 3.30pm.
Check out the website to print out and complete your registration
form in advance. You can then hand this in on the day.
Camping
Apply via the box office (Tel: 0870 272 7374) to get your camping
certificate in advance. Spaces are limited.
Wag & Bone Awards
Hurry as application forms must be returned before 30th June.
Top Dog
Advance entries for Top Dog closed today (22 July). If you wanted
to take part but have not already submitted your advanced entry,
you may still be able to sign up on the day. Entry to each class
will be £2 but some classes may already be full.
Pup Idol
There is still time to put together your two minute audition piece
and entry is free.
KC Chip Shop
At the KC Chip Shop stand there will be free microchipping and
membership to PetLog Plus available for just £15.
