Nani Aki Linder, USA author of ‘Trial
by Fire: A True Story of Hope’, has joined forces with The
Bella Moss Foundation to help continue the ongoing battle
against MRSA (methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus).
Linder says “The Bella Moss Foundation needs funds for
projects that continue to raise awareness. The Foundation is also
involved with putting on educational conferences for vets and
initiating academic research projects into understanding more
about the epidemiology of MRSA in animals”.

of the charity, read our article MRSA
in Pets and Calling all Cases
- Pet MRSA update.
Linder has arranged that all of the royalties received from sales
of her book on 4th October will go directly to The Bella Moss
Foundation. Jill Moss, President and Founder, says “Oct.
4, 2005, is WORLD ANIMAL DAY
and The Bella Moss Foundation will host a fundraiser for the serious
problem of MRSA in pets. This is a straight up appeal; no advertising,
no offers of freebies, no one will contact you to buy their stuff.
The author is not on any list for best-seller gain. Only the Foundation
will gain, but the long-term benefits will include all humanity”.
‘Trial By Fire: A True Story of Hope’ is available
at www.amazon.co.uk
for £12.95.
21st August 2005 – Memorial to Bella
On Sunday 21st August a memorial took place in honour of Jill’s
dog Bella and to celebrate the recovery of those pets helped by
The Bella Moss Foundation.
Not all of the pets could be present because some are still infected
and many are overseas, but many did bring their owners along to
the memorial. Also present was Our Dogs newspaper and Richard
Allport, homeopathic vet.
Jill says “MRSA does not have to kill if it detected
in time and treated. Join the Bella Moss Foundation in raising
awareness. After you have read this download the PDF files from
The Foundation's How
you can Help page”.
