Microchipping Month - June 2006 |
 |
National
Microchipping Month is now in its
3rd successful year and covers the month of June 2006. |
|
The
National Microchipping campaign is co-ordinated by the Kennel Club.
The aim is to promote pet microchipping as the preferred method
of permanent identification and to highlight the importance of keeping
the details up to date once microchipping has been done. So if your
pet is already chipped, why not let National Microchipping Month
serve as a reminder to you to check that your pet’s details
are current and accurate.
During June 2006, microchipping events for dogs will be held in
parks in London and across the UK. These events provide easy access
to microchipping services and offer free or reduced rate microchipping
while stocks last. Specially trained personnel will be in attendance
to carry out the simply procedure.

Pet microchips
are about the size of two grains of rice. |
