The average stay for a dog at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is 23 days, but some dogs end up staying here a bit longer through no fault of their own. "Sometimes they need an extra-special new home, with experience of their breed, temperament, or they might not be suitable to live with children or other animals" says Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

Through Channel 4 'It's Me Or the Dog' TV show, you can apply to rehome a dog from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
