Whether
you live in the UK, USA, Europe or the other side of the
world,
petmillions.com
is a great way to win cash prizes and support animal charities. |
Petmillions.com
is an online pet photo contest. Entry costs from $1.50 which is
about £0.80p, and is payable via debit or credit card through
PayPal. 40% of your entry fee will go to an animal charity of
YOUR choosing from the growing list of charity partners. The Border
Collie Trust, Dogs Trust, Cats Protection League, WSPA, The Blue
Cross, PDSA, and The Mayhew Animal Home are just a few of the
charities signed up so far.
As if that wasn’t enough, you can also win cash prizes.
Another 40% of every entry fee goes towards the Petmillions prize
fund.
The contest is simple! Enter your pet and every month try to get
as many votes as you can for your pet! The top 20 most voted pets
each month go through to the Grand Final, which is judged by Snapfish
(Hewlett Packard) and Petmeds. The winners will get a share of
the total prize fund.
So, once you have entered your pooch into the Petmillions contest,
why not post your voting link on the D
for Dog Forum so that other D for Dog members can vote for
your pet.
You'd be barking not to have a go!
Helen
and Richard are the brains behind Petmillions.com. Helen has
worked online since the late 1990's and has worked for companies
such as Disney, Marks & Spencer, Buena Vista International,
Laura Ashley to name just a few. Richard has, in his own words,
'been involved in computing since the launch of the Sinclair
Spectrum'.
Richard says "It is a brilliant idea. Everyone likes
a flutter now and then, and petmillions.com allows people
to indulge that desire while still 'doing the right thing'
and helping charities. As we've now managed to renegotiate
the hosting and other costs right down,
and have therefore raised the charity percentage to 40%, I
totally recommend petmillions.com". |
