Is

of the Year?
Scruffts is the nation’s favourite crossbreed competition
and is a great way to enjoy time with your dog and family.
If you own a crossbreed, then the Kennel Club would like
to hear from you! |

"A
crossbreed is a dog of mixed blood, whose parents are of two different
breeds, or a mixture of several breeds." says the Kennel
Club.
The Kennel Club is co-ordinating Scruffts heats throughout the
UK in 2008. The winners from each heat will be invited to Discover
Dogs 2008 for the Grand Final. Dog shows hosting Scruffts qualifying
heats in 2008 can be searched for in the Kennel Club Events Calendar.
To search the Events Calendar for Scruffts 2008 heats:
1. Go to the Kennel
Club Events Calendar page
2. Type 'Scruffts' in the Search Events box and select 'All dates'
3. Click on 'Search'
You should now have a full list of Scruffts 2008 heats to view.

the judges. The dogs are judged on their character, health, and
temperament with other dogs and people. The winner of each class
will be entered into the Grand Final to compete for the overall
accolade of Scruffts Family Crossbreed Dog of the Year at Discover
Dogs on 9th November 2008.
