Pedigree® has launched its 2010 Pedigree Adoption Drive™
to highlight the issue of dog abandonment in the UK.
| |
The
Pedigree Adoption Drive aims to increase the public's awareness
of dog abandonment and raise funds to help UK rescue centres
and charities. |
"Over
100,000 dogs are abandoned in the UK each year. Worse still, one
of these dogs has to be put down every hour. Join us to show your
support and help raise awareness."
Adopt
Give a dog a home. Help save a dog's life. Adopting an abandoned
dog is one of the greatest things you can do. Every dog deserves
a second chance - give them that and they'll reward you with years
of fun and love.

"In
the last two years of the Pedigree Adoption Drive together we
have raised over £1,000,000 for rescue centres around the
country. This much-needed funding helps shelters to continue their
wonderful work of finding loving homes for abandoned dogs."
Where the money went
Over £1,000,000 has been distributed to shelters all over
the UK and Ireland since 2008. To find out where the money went
