Pet Smile Month 2010
Pet Smile Month
Pet Smile Month will be held during September 2010

The aim is to promote awareness of the importance of Veterinary Dentistry both to the public and to the veterinary profession, helping to achieve better health through better dental care.

PetSmile Month is coming - September 2010 will see FREE Dental Check-Ups being provided at nearly 1,500 Veterinary Practices throughout the UK.

A frighteningly high percentage of pets are in urgent need of dental treatment. This means that they are walking around with infection and inflammation in their mouths. Not only is there infection in the mouth but it can spread to affect the whole body. This is why vets around the country have combined together, donating their time to help tackle this problem.

It is important to remember that most dental disease is treatable. Certainly the vast majority of the disease is preventable.

Find a Pet Smile Month Vet
Arranging a dental health check-up has never been easier. Simply click on the Find-a-PSM Vet button on the Pet Smile Month website and they will locate your nearest participating practices. Then simply give them a call and arrange an appointment. Not only will your pet receive a Pet Smile Check-Up but also a copy of the Guide to Veterinary Dentistry and various special offers from sponsors.
