My husband and I adopted our puppy, Molly, a mix of probably everything, in June of this year when she was 3 months old. She was on antibiotics and had a little bit of hair loss. At the beginning we fed her what she was being fed at the rescue, Science Diet Puppy, and she kept losing hair and scratching all the time. We took her to the vet ruled out mange, and switched her to Hill's Prescription Diet Z/D Ultra Allergen Free, she stopped scratching and her hair started growing back but she had a lot of trouble with bowel movements, plus she HATED it, the pieces are too big and it smelled bad so she would normally just walk away instead of eating it, also has a preservative banned in human food. We finally switched her to Fromm Duck and Sweet Potato, and now she gets excited when she sees us pick up her bowl, she's finally healthy, very happy, and her hair is finally growing in. Not to mention she is quite beautiful.
