When I first got my Whippet, Katie, she was fed on 'Ben' tinned dog food by the breeder. I was given a couple of tins to be going on with. She just picked at it, she had problems with her coat, and was under weight - even for a Whippet. I tried various other tinned dog foods, all the well know ones. Katie just did not seem interested in them.

Then, via D for Dog, I found out about the 'Natural' dog foods and decided to give them a go. I went for natures:menu because it was easy to get hold of at our pet shop and came in Whippet meal size pouches. The difference in Katie was amazing; her coat improved, her general well being improved, she became a much more balanced animal. She put on weight, but has balanced out nicely now, so she is not over weight. She is generally a more happy dog. She won't touch commercial 'tinned' dog food now. Even the cat likes the Natures:menu dog food.
