Little Dumpledale has to be the most dog friendly place to stay anywhere in the UK. There are three well equiped holiday cottages and one luxury caravan, each with its own secure garden and the dogs are allowed anywhere in the property. There are fabulous local walks and the beaches are a short drive away. Carol and Trevor, the owners, have gone the extra mile to ensure you and your dogs have a fantastic time. There's also a swimming pool and jacuzzi for the humans.

I've been three times this year and am going again in January 08. One time we went, there were 25 dogs on site, all happy and enjoying their holiday too. Trevor is looking into buying a local field and fencing it securely for dogs that would normally not be allowed off lead to enjoy some free running.
