This could be your chance to help us with our animals, as we invite one or two young people to live with us as au pairs and dog/donkey/poultry carers throughout the year. This is a domestic situation caring for our home and pets, it is not a commercial position and our au pairs live very much as part of the family. For our au pair dog carers all living costs are met and in addition each receives weekly pocket money. We also run a guest house, where people from all over the world stay, our Au Pairs would also be involved in the running of this.Life here is all about caring for the animals, which include dogs, chickens, Donkeys, which involves helping with feeding, bathing, grooming, lots of exercising, and assisting with general care. All our dogs are friendly and well mannered. In addition our au pairs help us to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene both inside and outside.

Most of the real work happens in the morning. Going out with the dogs first thing and clearing up, making sure everything is clean outside, helping with feeding and settling the dogs. After breakfast, some general cleaning, and housekeeping inside to be done - before lunch.
Although there is plenty of free time and days off, because this is a family home no one is really ever off duty, there is always a water bowl to be filled up, a dog wanting a cuddle, someone on the wrong side of a door and so on. If you like to separate work and leisure life here is not for you.

In addition to the daily routine of work that keeps Bramblecroft afloat there are lots of other less routine activities that take place on a regular weekly or occasional basis. These include assisting in dog training classes, and One to One animal training with very few exceptions all evenings are free for our au pair dog carers to do what they wish either at home or out and about.

Dog Carers Wanted
Wagging Tails Home Dog Boarding is looking for carers to look after our owners dogs (in your own home) whilst the owners are away. We need individuals / families who have experience of looking after dogs but do not have any dogs of their own. Perhaps you feel a dog all year round would be too expensive or time consuming, or your dog may have sadly passed away and you are not wanting a permanent dog yet. This is primarily seasonal work, however you are free to accept or decline any bookings offered to you.

We need you to have your own secure garden and somewhere in your home for dogs to relax, play and sleep. Our owners supply food, treats and bedding for the duration of the stay, leaving you to enjoy the time you have with your four-legged guest & get paid for the priviledge! So if you love dogs & either work from home or don't work then we would love to hear from you.

Dog Carer
We are looking for reliable, caring, dog lovers to board dogs in their own homes. This could be anything from 3 nights to 3 months, depending on our client's needs. This position would suit dog lovers or someone that already has experience of working with and/or training dogs, who are responsible, dependable, practical and preferably self employed, retired or working from home as the dogs need 24/7 care. You must have a secure garden and will be expected to meet us at our farm in Ickenham every morning to walk with us and the rest of the pack. Drivers are preferred as you may have to drive to our base in Hillingdon to collect or drop off the dogs that you will be looking after. We will gain a boarding licence for you from your local council and you will be prepared to be CRB/police checked along with other security measures.

Assistant Driver/Dog Walker
We are currently looking for someone living in the Borough of either Hillingdon, Harrow or South Bucks that holds a current UK driving licence, is comfortable driving a manual VW Transporter, is over 25 (for insurance purposes), is prepared to be CRB checked along with other security checks and has previous experience in working with dogs or looking after dogs. You will be hard working, presentable, trustworthy and reliable. You will be assisting one of our trained handlers collecting the pack (of various breeds & sizes) in Hampstead in the morning and walking them on our private farm land in Ickenham.

We are also looking for someone to look after our local round of dogs (Stanmore-Ruislip) in the same fashion as above.

Security
We are also looking for SIA approved dog handlers for security/patrol/guarding work.

If you don’t mind being out in all types of weather, don’t mind driving in rush hour and feel you have the necessary experience/qualities to work with a variety of breeds then please email your CV & covering letter.
